Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026
The short version: we don't store your files. Every file you upload is processed in memory or in a temporary folder, sent back to you, and then it's gone. We don't read it, keep it, back it up, or share it with anyone. The one exception — images shared via QR code — is explained below.

What happens to a file you upload

When you use a tool on this site, your file is uploaded to our server just long enough to run the requested operation — merging, compressing, converting, and so on. The result is sent straight back to your browser. We do not retain a copy, and we do not inspect the contents of your files beyond what's needed to process them.

Temporary working files are automatically cleared out on a regular schedule, so even in the unlikely event a file is still sitting on disk, it doesn't stay there long.

The one exception: QR codes linking to an image

The "Image" mode of the QR Code Generator is different from every other tool on this site, and it's worth being upfront about it: because a QR code can only hold a small amount of text, putting a photo in one means we host that photo at a short link and encode that link into the code. This means the image is intentionally stored, and — unlike everything else on this site — reachable by anyone who has or scans that link. It is automatically deleted 24 hours after upload, after which the link stops working. Don't use this for anything sensitive.

What we don't do

Basic technical logs

Like most websites, our server may briefly log standard technical information (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention purposes — for example, to spot unusual traffic patterns. This is not linked to the content of your files and is not used for tracking or profiling.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies present are limited to what's strictly necessary for the site to function.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
